I didn’t meet Grayson’s family in time to do his sister’s newborn portraits, but I have photographed her for years and its so awesome to now see her become a big sister and meet her adorable baby brother! You can already tell she will be an awesome big sister and Baby Grayson will be a very loved little guy!!
The Perry family put a personal twist on their family portrait by doing it outside their contemporary Tallahassee home. I love how personal it makes the session and as the years pass, the family will change as will the home, but this moment is captured forever.
I love photographing families in locations that have significance to them. Heck, I love any new place to create a portrait and challenge my brain! For the Steele family, it was at the grandparents home. Since I have photographed this family for years, when I had any ideas they were very gung-ho, even when it meant climbing into a flower bed or snipping off a small branch of a tree that was in the way. I am so glad I have clients who trust so much in my photography because I absolutely love how these turned out!!
I love baby photography! I love getting to play with sweet chunky babies and capture their adorable smiles, funny faces and grumpy pouts! I am so honored that Yeevah is the fourth baby in her family that I have been able to photograph and that I still get to see her big brothers and sister as they grow. Its the best part of my job to stay with a family for years! (more…)
High school sweethearts, Tessa and Justin’s love has already stood the test of time– well, for more than a decade already! They got married under the big oak tree at the Space at Feather Oaks in Tallahassee, surrounded by their closest friends and family. While Hurricane Nate skirted Tallahassee, it thankfully only gave us some sprinkles until about halfway into the wedding reception, when the skies opened up! Thankfully, we got most of their wedding photography done before the downpour, but we definitely raced to move the party inside!
