I think Brenda’s schedule is about as crazy as mine! I thought she would be kicked back enjoying a lazy summer before her senior year, but this chick is off and running everywhere! I was so glad we were able to find a time to squeeze in her senior portraits before the real craziness begins again with school in August!

I only see a slight resemblance between Sawyer and her big brother, but they are EXACTLY the same when they come into the studio. A million different expressions and the sweetest disposition. I swear, when they are here, I just have to be behind the camera and they naturally perform!

Payten brought her A game for her six month session! Her mom and aunt said she wasn’t quite able to sit on her own, but Miss P showed them wrong! She sat up and chatted with us for quite some time! She used every ounce of good she had and we sent her home completely exhausted. Definitely a win!

Its that time of year when Olyn and I get the itch to stretch ourselves creatively. You may have noticed a lot of short notice model calls on our Facebook page as we try to schedule sessions that give us creative freedom. We have SO many ideas and so much that we want to do for our own personal projects that we are having Inspiration Sessions in the month of July. An Inspiration Session is a session that is completely what we want to do– from the clothing, styling, location, etc. it is a chance for Olyn and I to have complete creative freedom.
If you are interested in doing a creative session, review the list below to see if there is a session type that would fit for you. If you are interested, please email Linda@LongsPhotography.com and let us know what type of session you are looking for. We will be accepting submissions until July 10th. The portrait sessions will be selected from those entries and scheduled Monday-Friday from 9-4:30 in July.
There is no charge for the session and each session will include a 5×7 print at no charge at the order session. Additional prints may be ordered, but there is no minimum purchase requirement.
Sessions we are looking for:
-Family portrait session with children ages 5-12
-Family portrait session with children ages 3-8
-Newborn portrait session (less than three weeks old)
-6 month old girl studio session
-6 month old boy studio session
-Child portrait ages 4-7
-Mother and child session (child ages 3-10)
-Maternity portrait session (includes implied nudity)
-Maternity portrait series (must be less than 8 weeks pregnant for continuing project)
-Couple’s outdoor portrait session (at night, includes water)
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE SESSIONS FOR EVERYONE, BUT WE WILL BE CHOOSING FROM THOSE WHO SUBMIT THEIR ENTRIES BY EMAIL.

The teeny princess was back in the studio yesterday for her nine month portraits. Stella is one scrappy lil thang– she is only in 3-6 month clothes, but this dive is nearly walking! She was full of giggles and silliness and I was so happy that she continued her tradition of sticking her tongue out during her session. 🙂 So much attitude!
