What do a two year old and an eight month old on a warm spring morning at the park add up to?? Well, for us, lots of silliness and giggles! The Campbell family joined us last week at Dorothy B. Oven park for their first family portrait since their little princess came into the world. Its so incredible special to photograph a family’s first portrait together and know these are images they will always treasure!

Even though we photograph seniors each and every year, it takes me a bit to get used to looking UP to a senior guy. Derek was definitely one I had to pull out the ladder to photograph– its obvious why this guy plays basketball! He was great for his session and had an awesome sense of humor as I harassed him for smiles and put him in uncomfortable poses.

I swear I need to install a video camera in the studio to capture the craziness that goes on in the camera room! I think I would probably be one of the America’s Funniest Home Video winners, or at least a mild YouTube sensation. 🙂 Nothing gets wilder in the studio than portraits of a two year old and Cameron is definitely no exception! She had us running, dancing, singing and making general fools of ourselves just to get a smile.

I just love Jess to bits and pieces! She is always on board for any of our weird ideas and she never tells me no! She was such a trooper for her bridal portraits last week, even though it was a tad warm and we were being eaten alive by bugs! She was a rockstar for her bridal portraits, but I think her wedding images from Saturday are even more beautiful!
