Baby Ellasyn & Tallahassee baby portraits

Baby  Ellasyn is definitely one busy little girl!  If she wasn’t snacking on her little fingers, then she was pulling her dress over her head.  She was such a hoot and definitely made me work to get portraits of her!  If she is this sassy now, I can only imagine what a mess of a little girl she will be!  I love it!

Austin- Tallahassee Heart Gallery

Austin- Tallahassee Heart Gallery

Founded over eight years ago, The Heart Gallery is a photographic exhibit created to find forever families for children in foster care.  The nationwide project includes more than 120 local heart galleries and is designed to increase the number of adoptive families for children needing families in our community.  Leading the local Heart Gallery project is The Tallahassee Junior League, with Long’s Photography as their proud partner.
Austin is our latest Heart Gallery portrait and he is a total guy’s guy.  Counting the days until he can get his driver’s license, Austin is totally into classic cars, especially mustangs.  I have a feeling that the majority of his teen years will be spent under the hood of a car.  🙂

In His Shoes Portrait Special

In His Shoes Portrait Special

Long’s Photography has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Big Bend to celebrate Father’s Day while also giving back to the children of Tallahassee.  On Saturday, May 15th, Long’s Photography will be offering “In His Shoes” mini portrait sessions in the studio.  Each session is just a minimum $25 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters.  There is no actual session fee or minimum purchase– each session benefits children in the Big Bend through positive mentoring relationships.

Each session is just a quick 15 minutes and are by appointment only.  To schedule your appointment, contact the studio at 850.339.5799 or Linda@LongsPhotography.com  Session times are first come, first serve and may book completely.

For your session, you should bring clothes for your child to dress up in such as: Dad’s shirt, tie, shoes, etc.  Little girls can also dress up like Mom, so you would want to bring dresses, hats, jewelry, heels, etc.  If Dad is into sports, bring his jersey, baseball hat, etc.  If dad has a hobby like fishing or bowling, bring some of those items as well.  Each session can accomodate up to three children ages six months and up  (must be able to sit up unassisted).  The sessions are limited to one outfit per child.

Be sure to check out Big Brothers Big Sisters online at: http://www.bigbrothers-bigsisters.org/
